About me

I recently completed my PhD in Physics at UC Berkeley. You can find my resume here. My research primarily involve quantum information processing with individual trapped ions. I worked on a variety of interesting projects involving lasers, electronics design, and software development. Perhaps most importantly, physics taught me to solve problems rigorously.

Lately, I've become quite interested in machine learning and data science. In part, this was due to auditing the excellent CS 280 (Machine Learning) at Berkeley. I am excited to explore data-intensive problems.
